It is time once again for me to bring you the best of viral videos. Okay so maybe they are not the best or even the funniest, but I sure do find them to be delightfully funny. You should find them that way too, or just lie to me and tell me that you did so I don’t feel bad about myself again and eat two whole ice cream cakes and try to book a spur of the moment flight to Minneapolis but ended up not because I fell into a serious sugar crash from bingeing like the last time.

There is always a swatch of activity over the long holiday period concerning viral videos. Certain videos shoot to the top of the charts and are often influenced by seasonal factors, such as the one you’re about to view below, which has been inspired by Christmas. It’s a strange and somewhat misunderstood ballad to Santa Clause, written by a Korean boy band that seems to think Santa is a religious figure in our society – and they perform in their most stylish clothing and hair arrangements to make it all beautiful to watch.

Do you remember the first viral video you ever watched? Think back really hard and see if you can come up with anything. It is not something that a lot of people can recall. If you think about it, you have seen tons and tons of viral videos. Friends might have emailed you something to watch or you may have come across a video on Facebook or something like that. Maybe you even saw a clip of a viral video on a news program on television and decided to head over the YouTube and check it out for yourself. No matter how you found out about a video, you watched it and added it to your list of viral videos watched.

The internet is a wonderful thing. Thanks to the impressive technology the internet is now easier than ever and faster than ever. Do you remember when you used to have to be off the phone to dial up to your internet connection? That sound of the connection being made was loud and annoying, and then the time it took to download files or even load pictures was so slow it was painful to sit and wait. Now you can hop on to a connection and get your information at rapid speeds. It seems like everything is right at your fingertips now, and that is a fairly accurate statement. One of the coolest things that you can do online now is watch videos. Some videos that you might see are what are known as viral videos. Viral videos are those that become very popular through sharing via email and/or social media.

There are days when I feel completely motivated and excited to get stuff done. Those days are few and far in between though. Most days I feel lazy, uninterested in accomplishing anything, and I just want to find the best way possible to waste time while procrastinating. Enter viral videos. I remember when I used to have to doodle and draw pretty flowers, stars, and song lyrics for hours to waste all this time. Now, thanks to people putting videos of practically everything online all I have to do is go and look at viral videos. There are all types of videos that I love to waste hours watching, but two are my favorites. They are animal video clips and people doing stupid things. Seriously, I think I could spend all eight hours of my work day glued to a viral video site just watching these types of clips. The best thing is that after you have watched one, recommendations for similar videos pop up and beg you to click. So, in actuality my procrastination is being forced. It is not my fault that they keep showing up making me feel pressured into clicking and watching. I mean how can you turn down cute furry critters or scary sharks?

Less than a year from now we will be heading out to the voting polls to cast our votes for the 2012 elections. Choosing a president of the country is a great right that we as Americans have and should follow through with. Surely you will begin seeing even more campaigning and debates going on in the coming months, and maybe these things will help to make your decisions much easier. So what do the 2012 campaigns have to do with viral videos, you might be curious to know? Well, one of my favorite things to do so far is to watch some of the mess ups from the recent GOP debates. You can watch Rick Perry stumble and stutter over the agencies he wants to do away with, or see Herman Cain facing accusations of sexual harassment. You can even check out NBC’s Saturday Night Live Skits that poke fun of the debates and cause insane amounts of laughter. One thing that many candidates of the past have not done is tap into the power of viral videos for themselves. Sure, there was Obamagirl and things like that, but a candidate or a candidate’s family has never really gone as far as John Huntsman’s daughters have gone this year.

I remember the days before YouTube. Really, I do. They were cold, lonely, and dark days. If I wanted to watch something to make me laugh right then I had nowhere to turn. The ease of simply going to the YouTube site and typing in what I wanted to see was not possible, and those are days I do not want to relive. I am pretty sure that I am on YouTube just as much as I am on Facebook, Google+, and Pinterest. I am hooked on watching videos one after another and laughing, crying, even getting inspired to make my own videos. The only problem I have run into with YouTube is the fact that anyone can upload a video, and let’s be honest here not everyone needs to do that. Some people just cannot make a video to save their lives. I am not mad at them, but I only want to watch the best viral videos. That is why I subscribe to certain channels that I know will put out videos that give me just what I am looking for.
